Greenwave 2012

As part of our work for Discover Primary Science this year both Miss Brennan's room and Mrs Boyle's room are working to log the signs of spring on Greenwave (http://www.greenwave.ie)
We found frogspawn (lots of it at the back of the school), primroses, hawthorn and horse chestnut.
You can log on to Greenwave and see where signs of spring have been logged by schools all over the country.
Scroll down to see photos of our frogspawn, hawthorn, horse chestnut and primroses below ...
We also did some weather activities from the greenwave site - we learned about measuring rainfall, temperature and windspeed.
