Many thanks to Manuel Lavery who came in to the school to tell us all about photography and how it works.
Everyone was fascinated by the cameras and all the equipment that goes with them.

Visiting the lab with Mr Moyna
Science in St Macartans Lab: : Senior classes had a great day at the Science Laboratory in St Macartan’s College.
The visit was arranged by past pupil Eamon Todd and Mr Moyna kindly gave an hour of his time for an exciting workshop on acids and bases.
The children took part in some exciting experiments including testing for acids and bases, an experiment on air pressure and learning about metals.
