STEM Showcase

We organised our Science Fair early this year so we could take part in the Intel Mini Scientist Competition.
All classes were involved in the fair, even the infants. 4th, 5th and 6th classes were involved in the judging for the Intel Mini Scientist.
Everyone had displays and experiments to show to the other classes.
All our parents and families were invited and a judge arrived from Intel.
One project was selected to go forward to the regional final in  Blanchardstown IT. A team of five went to the regional final to represent the school

1. School Science Fair: November 2017

2. Intel Regional Final, Blanchardstown IT

One team was selected from our science fair to represent us at the Intel Mini Scientist Regional Final.
The four boys represented us very well with their project on running techniques.
A lot was learned by looking at other projects at the final and there was a science show as well.
It was an excellent experience and thank you to INTEL for providing the judges, the participant's goodie bags and the prizes.
Here's some of our project work....
